Etna Tour

A tour to visit magnificent places, such as “La Valle del Bove”, an ancient caldera located on the eastern side of Etna, the scene of recent volcanic eruptions, within the protected area of ​​the Etna Park and continue off-road to reach a lava flow cave.
With helmets, ropes and torches we enter the lava tunnel to discover its formation and composition. Subsequently we undertake a light walk on a system to “buttonhole” of extinct craters part of the 300 peripheral crater Etnei. At the end we  pass the last big eruption that destroyed the Piano Provenzana ski resorts.

The tour  continue with a typical Sicilian lunch and a visit to the Alcantara Gorges, formed thousands of years ago. Along the way you can admire small Sicilian suburbs on the north side of Mount Etna including Castiglione di Sicilia, famous for the production of Etna DOC
